What to inspect when you buy a new vehicle !

Everything You Need To Know About Taking New or Used Vehicle Delivery !

Taking delivery of new vehicle is easy right? No, its not. While taking delivery of vehicle you should consider checking all the check points which I have mentioned below.

There are various aspects where a vehicle dealership can make money from you and even if you having great bargaining skills, they are still capable to make it from you because it’s their business.

What should you know about dealerships!?

There are many dealership in market who sell vehicles like new , pre-owned and used but you have to be looking for best vehicle that fits your style without any compromises within your budget.

Its better to look forward with authorized dealership near by you stay because its safe and applicable for problem solving any issues in your vehicle whether your vehicle is ON or OFF warranty. Usually unauthorized dealership orders the vehicle from different regions and sell it locally, things can be go too... crazy if its to claim the warranty!

Whenever you go to the market, make sure that, what they are having to offer you and what they are trying to sell you additionally and does it make any sense summing with your vehicle!? Because dealerships are manipulating customers to add extra stuffs into your vehicle for limited function and aesthetics. They also push products to the customer so beware of such things.

Generally customers always been treated for discounts on the products like 10k off on the features or 10k off on the product or 10k off on additional services.

I want to mention that brands never ever put discounts on their strong products that is well capable in the market so you better make sure if you want discounts on products just wait for festive offers or new year sale or any stock sale.

Customers should always know about, what kind of discounts they are offering you on what particular product or stuffs. Basically Customer should ask discounts on cash or price of the actual vehicle rather than on accessories.

Dealerships also sell you vehicle on loan so you must check what kind on loan they are offering you,  how much is the interest rate on principal amount. They also sell you insurance policy along with the vehicle. So, you must know what kind of insurance they are offering you, you also must read the terms and condition before any purchase. There is no compulsion to buy insurance from dealerships only!
There many third party insurance companies and govt. insurances to avail you on cheaper rate.

But before buying any product from the brand, what you should actually check ?

Is the brand offering heavy discounts on the product?

Make sure why the brand is offering heavy discounts on it. Is the product strong in the market? Is the product well built? Is there any problems in the vehicle itself ? Is the brand offering good service? or is it just to sell for sales figure!?
You should better check it , search for the problems in it, also search for why is this product is well/not recommended?, why does this product have poor/great sales figure?, what about after sales service?
Because when you going to sell it after owning it you should get the best market price because dealerships also offers better buy back guarantee but you still compare prices before selling it to dealership. You can also visit the service center of the brand and talk to the mechanic or advisors for any doubt.

Relationship Between Sales Person & Customer.

Relation between them is important because what ever the sales person tries to sell you its faith under the name of brand so, sales person will always try to satisfy your need and desire. So, keeping bonding with it would be helpful if any problem occurs during finance or anything else. You can also ask them that, you like to visit the booked vehicle before any accessories applied on it. They can take you to the vehicle or if they denied you to visit so, you just let it go! its riskier to buy the vehicle from them!

All the aspects mention above and just do test ride and check for the vehicle steering and wheel alignment. Also consider to run engine of ideal condition and during full throttle there should not be warning black smokes.

Before signing the documents, confirm it!

Before signing all the documents make sure to read all the agreements what have been added to your purchase list and check the final amount and if it is on Loan make sure to read the company's agreement. If you're satisfied and confirmed than only sign the documents.

My Verdict !

Always settlement the purchase of vehicle ( NEW/ PRE-OWNED/ USED) from the known and authorized dealerships so that the risk factor to be reduced and also the availability of parts with vehicle to be serviced on time. Customers can also file a case against the dealership if they do any misuse of the vehicle.
